The Toronto Pearson airport is the largest airport in Canada. Globally, it ranks as the world’s 34th busiest airport for total passenger traffic and 23rd busiest for international passenger traffic. transportation from buffalo to toronto airport The airport is the 15th busiest by flight and constant hubbub of activity in both the departure and arrival sections of the airport.

Pearson is home to Air Canada, the country’s national airline. It is also the central site for passenger airline West Jet, cargo airline FedEx Express and an operating base for passenger airlines Air Transat and Sunwing Airline.

Toronto Pearson Airport operates under the direction of the Greater Toronto Airport Authority and one of eight Canadian airports with the amenities to accommodate United States border preclearance.

For passengers traveling to the airport, there are several ways to reach their destination.

A friend or family member can drive. This can entail a long and hectic commute for the driver going to and from the airport. This type of transportation can also be costly if the driver decides to stay and bid farewell because parking rates at Pearson can be exorbitantly high.

There are numerous taxi services in the GTA to get passengers to the airport, but dispatch times are not always reliable and the cost can rise quickly relative to distance or getting stuck in traffic and watching the meter run continuously.

Taking the TTC is a viable option that helps to save money and avoid the parking hassle. However, when taking public transit, luggage has to be carted around, which may make the journey less pleasurable than other means of transportation.

Another means available from Ontario’s inter-regional public transit system is the GO Transit. Buses run at varying time to serve the public, but again carting luggage and a fixed timetable may be inconvenient.

Union Station in downtown Toronto has recently introduced Union Pearson Express to the airport. The UP express can wisk you to the airport in just 25 minutes, trains depart every 15 minutes and run 19 ½ hours a day.

There is still the hassle of carting the luggage, but it makes up for the drudge bearable by eliminating the risk and uncertainties of city traffic jams.

Many livery services can take passengers to the airport in their desired time-frame. A number of them provide exceptional service to and from Toronto Pearson airport, Toronto Billy Bishop airport, any other surrounding airport in the GTA as well as the Buffalo International Airport.

They have professional and knowledgeable chauffeurs to assist with luggage and some even have a Meet and Greet service for awaiting a traveler’s arrival bearing the guest’s name.
